To the best of Hart’s Kennel’s knowledge, we are providing a puppy that is free of disease and in good health. Each dog has been vaccinated and wormed on a strict schedule. At the time of purchase, Hart’s Kennel will provide you with a record of the vaccinations and worming schedule. We will also provide you with the brand of each of those vaccinations to provide to your vet. We will also provide you with a receipt of payment reflecting payments made in advance and final payment. No dog will be released to its owner until payment for the animal has been made in full.
For the protection of both parties the puppy should be examined by a licensed veterinarian at the purchaser’s own expense within 5-10 business days of taking ownership of the puppy. If this puppy is found to have a life threatening hereditary congenital defect or any major health problem at that time, a replacement puppy of equal value will be offered (within 12 months), provided that the breeder is notified within 24 hours of the vet exam and provided with a signed letter from the licensed veterinarian on official letterhead stating the exact defect or health problem. If the purchaser does not take the puppy/dog to a licensed veterinarian within the five to 10 (5-10) business days of taking ownership, this guarantee becomes null and void. This puppy must be returned to the breeder along with the AKC Registration papers and the signed letter from the licensed veterinarian within ten (10) business days of taking ownership of the puppy. We, Hart’s Kennel, are not responsible for any veterinarian bills acquired by you, the purchaser, after the date of purchase. Please notify us if you encounter any of these issues, we may be able to offer some advice or suggestions prior to visiting a veterinarian.
Our puppies are vet checked prior to leaving our home and the veterinarian’s certificate of health stating his medical findings for this puppy are included in your puppy packet.
